Reslife Continues to Please

{by Kayla Murdock} I know I spelled that wrong. I'm very sorry. Here's how it happened, if you're interested: I did this in pencil first, and while tracing over it in ink, decided at the last minute that the quote needed an exclamation point at the end. So, clearly without paying enough attention, I traced over the second L and made it an exclamation point instead of the correct character. Imagine my surprise when I noticed my mistake in print this morning. I assume it wasn't just my copy and the other 3,999 have it too. Sorry, Tufts. Let's just focus on how annoyed we are at Reslife and their new guest policy and try to ignore it.

In the heat, intoxicated students began to feel the effects of dehydration, but were unable to leave the event to get water. To some, drinking more alcohol seemed the best alternative.

Golden Rice

{by Erin Marshall} Researchers at the Friedman school have been criticized for a study where the genetically modified "Golden Rice" was fed to children. Golden Rice is being developed as a weapon to fight vitamin A deficiencies, but outside scientists have questioned whether the levels of beta-carotene (a precursor to vitamin A) in the rice are dangerous to the participants in the study. Proponents of the Golden Rice pointed out that the amount of beta-carotene in a meal of Golden rice is 10 percent of that found in a single carrot. NB: That is a very large single grain of rice laying across the table and not a turd.

This process is a consequence of a very serious alcohol related incident that occurred in '05, and will hopefully never happen again in DTD or any of the other fraternities that may or may not serve alcohol to underage students on a regular basis.
